Tell us about your career at saga?

I started in main sales in saga services in October 2005 and was an agent on the phone for a couple of years; I was then given the opportunity to move into an internet team which was great experience and gave me an insight into the business as a whole.

In 2008 I applied for a Development Team Manager role in Customer Services, and was successful. I really enjoyed working with agents and seeing the team hit targets, getting the team to perform.  Then in 2011 a unit manager position became available which would give me the next step in my career, this involved looking after Team Manager's rather than agents on the phone.  After 9 months I was promoted to Operations Manager and that is where I am today.

How have you developed to where you are today?

When I was an agent I had great Team Manager, who really helped me decide what career path I wanted to take at Saga.

Throughout my time here I have had support and direction from the senior management team.

What has been your career highlight?

I would say my career highlight was being promoted to Operations Manager. I was excited to go for the position and was lucky enough to be successful.

What do you love about your job?

I enjoy working with variety of managers and agents, I like helping them develop and enjoy seeing them grow.

Where see yourself in the next few years?

As I am very new to this role, I would see myself still in same role but just a lot more settled and getting to know the role, as it has so many different elements.
